The 2nd ITF Hall of Fame Australasia ceremony was held on Saturday 27th January 2018 at the iconic Carlton Football Club in Melbourne, Australia.
ITF Hall of Fame ceremony included nominees, families, students, friends and supporters who came along to support and acknowledge the great achievements of those inducted.
Guests were welcomed by Grandmaster Trevor Nicholls, who traveled from the UK for the event, along with speeches by Grandmaster Kim, Grandmaster Choi, Master Muleta and Master Keating.
On the evening, inductees included:
Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa – Legend of Taekwon-Do
Grandmaster Jong Chan Kim – Legend of Taekwon-D0
Master Michael Muleta – Outstanding Lifetime Contribution
The Inaugural event in 2017 was a huge success with attendees and nominees from across Australia and New Zealand, and some very worthy and proud inductees.
The event has rapidly grown and was followed up by a sold-out event in 2018, featuring 3 Grandmasters and 10 ITF Masters in attendance, from various organizations, who travelled from UK, Canada, Korea, New Zealand and across Australia for the event.
The next induction ceremony will be announced soon.
