Final Selections - 2010 ITF World Championships

Final Selection trials are being held in Adeliade, SA on Sunday 28th March 2010, for the 2010 ITF World Championships (Junior, Senior and Veteran) to be held in Korea July 2010

All eligible United ITF black belts (and 1st gups) need to ensure that you are registered for the selection trials.

The trials will be held as part of the ITF South Australian championships, being held on the same day.

There will be an ITF endorsed and certified umpire course, conducted by Master Michael Muleta (Chairman ITF Umpire Committee - Oceana Region) on Saturday 27th March,

The course is open to all students, and certification level is issued according to rank. Previously certified umpires need to note that their certificates expire after 3 years. New ITF tournament rules will be highlighted during the course.

Mr Noel Keating will also be conducting self defense workshops on the Saturday.

ITF Australian Championships 2009

The 2009 ITF Australian Championships was held on Sunday 4th October in Melton, Victoria.

Participants travelled far and wide, from various parts of Victoria, NSW, South Australia, Queensland and ACT.

Congratulations to Thoroughbred Taekwon-Do club in taking out the ' Best Overall Club' award, with 16 Gold Medals. Runners up were Australian Institute of Taekwondo, Ataru and Legacy Taekwondo, all with 9 Gold medals.

Best Overall Male was Stephen Separovic (AIT), and Best Overall Female was Joanne Barwood (Thoroughbred)

The National Championships also incorporated the selection trials for the 2010 ITF Word Championships (Junior, Senior and Veterans) to be held in Seoul, Korea in July 2010.

ITF South Australian Championships

The 2009 ITF South Australian Championships will be held on Sunday 28th March 2010 in Adelaide.

It will be preceeded by an ITF certified Umpire Course on Saturday 27th March, 2010 condiucted by Master Michael Muleta, 7th Degree, Chairman of the ITF Umpire Committee (Oceana Region)

Self Defense seminar led by Sabum Noel Keating, 6th Degree will also be held on the Satruday evening, running from 4pm - 6pm

Participants of all ages, all ranks and from all affiliations are welcome to take part.
