Harry Hemana (dec)
Harry Hemana was a 5th Degree in the International Taekwon-Do Federation, and one of the pioneers of Taekwon-Do in New Zealand.
He was the Founder and President of South Pacific Taekwon-Do NZ and later a member of ITFNZ.
Harry Hemana was one of the New Zealand’s first instructors awarded the 9 star medal by General Choi Hong Hi personally for his outstanding and dedicated services to Taekwon-Do.
Harry Hemana passed away in Lower Hutt, NZ on May 3rd, 2005 and received a full military funeral.
Mr Hemana has been nominated for a posthumous ITF Hall Of Fame award for his outstanding contribution to Taekwon-Do in the region.
