Congratulations to Thoroughbred Taekwon-Do on being nominated for the Shire of Melton Community Achievement Awards.

The Award nomination is recognition of an outstanding past 12 months or so where Thoroughbred Taekwon-Do students/instructors have achieved many great things including:

  • 6 Gold Medal Winners at the 6th ITF Jnr World Champs and 14th ITF Senior World Champs, and a number of other medal winners
  • Hosting / Organizing the 6th ITF Jnr World Champs, 5th ITF Australasian Champs
  • Winning Best overall club at the Victorian Championships
  • Instructor Michael Muleta appointed as Asian Region Chairman of the ITF Expansion Committee
  • Corey Kailahi promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt and being awarded his International Instructor qualification
  • Organizing and hosting ITF President Choi Jung Hwa Australian Tour 
    Michael Muleta being re-elected President on United ITF Taekwon-Do for
  • another term of office.
  • Michael Muleta being promoted to 7th Degree Black Belt, ITF Master Instructor
  • Corey Kailahi won the 2007 Melton/Moorabool Oustanding Sportsperson award.
