Kerry McEvoy
Kerry McEvoy is an Australian-born 4th Degree with the International Taekwon-Do Federation, based in Auckland, New Zealand.
He is one of the Australasian Region’s most successful athletes having been a 9 times World Champion with 4 different ITF World Organisations and a 21 times World Championship Medalist, (9 Gold, 4 Sliver, 8 Bronze) in Patterns (10 Medals), Sparring (8 Medals), Traditional Sparring (2 Medals) and Special Technique (1 Medal) .
Kerry McEvoy, who is still active on the international tournament circuit and has competed for both New Zealand and Australia, also had a successful kickboxing background, before returning to Taekwon-Do.
Kerry is living proof that age is not a barrier to continually practicing Taekwon-Do at a high level and being your best.
Having been a pioneer and leading figure in the health and fitness industry for many years, Kerry currently oversees MAX International College for Fitness Professionals & World Class TaekwonDo.
Affectionately known around the world as Kman, Kerry has been nominated in the Outstanding athlete category.
