United ITF President and Thoroughred Taekwondo Chief Instructor Michael Muleta has just returned from Korea, where he conducted an ITF Masterclass, assisted ITF Korea organizers with preparations for the upcoming ITF Wolrd Championships and Taekwondo Festival. The seminar was held in GwangJu, and was attended by students and instructors up to 6th Degree Black Belt. The session consisted mainly of sparring drills, patterns and fundamental movements, and was enjoyed by a very enthusiastic group of ITF members. Master Muleta is the Chairman of the ITF Expansion Committee (Asia Region) and has spent the early part of 2010 visiting Asian ITF associations, conducing masterclasses, exchanging ideas and lending support. Master Michael Muleta, 7th Degree President of United ITF (INO#23) conducted an ITF Sparring Seminar in Hong Kong on Sunday 17th January 2010. The seminar was well attended by over 40 very enthusiastic black belts, ranging from 1st - 7th degree. Master Muleta also met with ITF Hong Kong officials and discussed the developmentof the ITF in the region. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Gillen. Brendan and Catherine were married early November, and all members of Thoroughbred Taekwondo wish them a life of happiness and success together. Brendan has been a long time member of Thoroughbred Taekwondo dating back some 16 years, a World Championships competitor as well as a State, National, Australasian and South Pacific champion and outstanding 3rd Degree Black Belt. Brendan has also been largely responsible for the development and maintenance of our clubs' websites and a key contributor over the years. |
